I have been a real estate lender for many years, and have made many loans to Brant Phillips or some of his coaching students. I can honestly say that this book is not only invaluable to new real estate lenders, but it can also teach experienced lenders some things as well. Kudos to Brant for spending the time to lay all the pieces out in a clear and conscientious way.
My old grandfather always said "never a borrower nor a lender be". I think that even he would feel more comfortable about lending private money for real estate after reading this book. Brant systematically lays out the full picture of the private money landscape and highlights the potential risks as well as the significant upside. Having worked with Brant for over 8 years and having loaned private money myself to his company and to others on multiple projects, I can tell you he nailed it with this book. A must read if considering deploying funds in this way.
With my busy schedule, it was hard to imagine being able to invest in Real Estate. But after meeting with Brant, he was able to put together a long-term plan to buy and hold properties that worked for me. We now have two rental properties and are actively looking for more. I would have to say that, thus far, the returns have far exceeded typical stock market returns and the tax advantages will be another added bonus! I have really enjoyed working with Brant as a passive investor because I can focus on my own job, while still having control and above market returns with my investments
